Pre-Drywall Walk Through: A few days prior to drywall, your Schmidt Builders Sales Person will schedule a time for you to walk your home with your community construction supervisor. At this time, you and your construction supervisor will ensure all electrical items are in place and in the correct locations.
Home Owner Orientation: Two days prior to closing, you, your sales person, and your construction supervisor will walk your new home. At this time, we will demonstrate the features of your home and explain the operations. As well, this is your opportunity to address any concerns you may have regarding your new Schmidt home.
At the time of your closing, in addition to the keys to your new home, you will be given a customer care package that will provide you with your warranty documentation and directions necessary for submitting warranty requests for your Schmidt home and after hours emergencies.
Welcome Home: Two weeks after closing, our warranty manager will stop by your home to introduce himself.
90-Day Warranty List: Ninety days after closing, we request that you mail your warranty request items into our office. You will find your 90-day warranty list form in the warranty package you received at your closing. Our mailing address is: 9679 Cincinnati-Columbus Road, Cincinnati, OH 45241.
Routine Warranty Requests: For routine warranty requests between your 90-day and your 11-month walk throughs, please contact our corporate office at (513) 779-9300.

“We’ve won prestigious awards and have been featured in numerous home shows. But our proudest moments have come when we’ve received letters of thanks from the hundreds of families we’ve built homes for across the greater Cincinnati area and northern Kentucky since 1958.”

Just wanted to share with you how much we love our Schmidt Built home! Just had a house warming party and everyone complimented our home tremendously! That you so much for building our dream home, we love it!
Schmidt Builders was friendly and easy to work with. They have put our minds at ease knowing the high quality and care they put into their work. They have exceeded our expectations throughout the home-buying process.
The buying process from Schmidt went smoothly. We are in love with the home, and the finishes that were chosen. If we did need anything, everyone that we've met from Schmidt Builders was very kind and helpful.
We now live in our second Schmidt Builders home. Both are very well built homes.
